Hi, i have just taken this off a new
DSC_4648 worm.jpg
indo milli import the coral was stripping on one end and i managed to break it off down to rock level and this worm was at the bottom its not a standard bristle as it swims along like an eel movements . thanks bill
 
Thanks for the reply i think so too and there are thousands of them with it being free like swimming i dont know if it ws responsible for that part of the milli stripping .thanks again
Cant vouch for the swimming behavior you described as an eel. But a worm is my best guess.

Most likely dorvilleidae.......harmless.
