Noticed yesterday half my hammer was retracted, today it looks terrible. All my other corals look good as pictured below.
Alk 8.9
Cal 430
Mag 1380
Nitrates 2.5
Phosphates .05
Temp 78
1.026
Nothing new in this tank in a month except a second gyre but its not in its direct path and it was added 2 weeks ago.

Its hard to tell whats going on from the pictures. Does it have a algae coat? Amphipods on it? I would take it out and dip it. Anything irritating will cause it to retract

Sometimes if you just move it to a new location within the tank, it will do better. Sometimes there is just something about specific locations in tanks that certain corals don't like.

Is this Brown Jelly? All I have Coral RX, what can I do to save it??? Or is it too far gone

I did a water/peroxide did and brushed lightly. A lot of nasty brown stuff came off. Then I did a coral rx 10 minute dip. I moved it to my other tank that only has zoas and mushrooms to see how it does

Looks like BJD. Keep an eye as it can spread to others.
