Any idea on this shrimp and crab?

I found these 2 guys while acclimating and dipping corals. Both are real tiny. Crab could sit on ur nail of ur pinky finger and the shrimp is smaller. Hard to get pictures of them because of their size and how quick they are.

Looks like a gorilla crab and pistol shrimp. Keep the shrimp toss the crab asap!

+1 sump the crab or toss it n nice pistol shrimp its a keeper get it a gobie to pair with fun to watch

ok guys is a gorilla crab the same as a Emerald?? I hear when they get larger they are extremely hard to remove from your tank.oh:

No they arent the same as an emerald. They are much worse. With emeralds its a slight possibilty that they might eat a polyp of coral here and there. With a gorilla crab its a certainty.

Keep the gorilla crab if you Absolutely HATE your corals!!.... I had one reek havoc on my 100gal display. When I finally caught the menace there was a mound of 7-10 frag plugs in his den from corals he had been scavenging and made into dinners. :sure::cry:

But good score on the pistol shrimp :wink:
+1 on getting him a goby to pair up with (but make sure you get a goby that does the whole pairing thing, not all of them do.)
