I would like to know what this is and how to get rid of it. I was thinking possibly bryopsis but really pale and doesn't quite look like it. I am QT'ing a lawnmower blenny right now.

GHA green hair algae. common phase for a young tank. a tooth brush and siphon on WC day will handle it generally.

Thanks for the info, but the more I look at it up close the more I think its Bryopsis. Here is another pic that shows it better. Do you still think its GHA or not. Any help would be appreciated, I already ordered Kent Tech M just in case. What levels have people had success with Kent Tech M Mg for Bryopsis. I've heard anywhere from 1400-2200. I was hoping to only have to take it to 1600 or so.

I think its a slippery slope. Its a young tank, right now you have nutrients PO fluctuating etc etc of a young tank. manual removal a scrub, etc.
I dont like to mess with the chemistry like that. Thats me.

I m also pretty sure bryopsys has a firmer more rigid structure like a fan or feather. Like my bryopsis.:)
