Any idea what has moved in

Hi just noticed these little burrows in my rockwork appear. Any idea what lives in these or if you have seen them before.

Have you seen any little critters? How long has that rock been in the water? Maybe some of it has dissolved and left the holes. Or it could be a rock boring sponge?

i know its a bit vauge right but i havent seen any crits. Rock has been in for 6 months and wasnt live.

just odd these little volcanos just appeared but they do look like little ant nests. Things in general are healthy.
