As you can see in the picture these are attached to a snail shell but I've got a rock on the other side that has a few on it as well.

The picture isn’t very clear, but maybe asterina starfish ? They are generally bad and spread and often eat corals depending on the variety

We may need a clearer picture though

Those look like snail eggs to me. Do you have any on your glass?

Nothing on the glass, other than snails , but as I continue to look I do find a few more on the rocks in various locations. This cluster here is by far the most in any one spot. Interesting that they are attached to a snail shell but guess that reallys doesn't have anything to do with anything.

That's a Mexican Turbo snail that's also stuck to the shell with the items in question.

Sorry about the picture but I've got an older generation iPhone which has difficulty with the LED lights.

Is it possible for you to pull the snail out and take a picture?

In my opinion, I don't think your picture is that bad... I've seen some oversaturated blue light pictures on here o_O (me included) with folks asking for id's.

I haven't seen limpet babies before but they typically have a cone shape at the peak of their shell.

That's exactly what mine look like so if those are eggs in your picture, I'm sure that's what I've got as well.

Thanks for that snapshot.
They are eggs from our snails... harmless unless they take over :)

Agreed.... eggs
