Any idea what this growth is?

Curious if anyone can help explain or identify what’s going on. Tank has been cycled and over last two-3 days have a new growth of what appears to be brown algae forming in my live rock. Currently no fish or coral added yet was planning on adding after this weekend. Is this a problem or would a CUC of sorts help

All good. Just the “nasty” stage of a new tank. Let it roll, with time and husbandry it’ll pass.

Most likely diatoms, they usually disappear on their own.

It’s normal, we call it “the uglies” of a new tank. It’s definitely nothing to worry about and usually disappears on its own.
