Weird thing growing out my sand with tentacles... Possibly a glass anemone??

Looks like aiptasia... you will want to eliminate it.

Just took it out very carefully and it shrunk up and looked like a slug. Hopefully I killed it off before it had a chance to replicate. Thanks for your feedback [emoji5]

If you get it again, which unfortunately is a possibility, I would try using the boiling water method. I had 2 in my tank and I tried this with a feeder and extracted them out after they die from the hot water. Nothing around it was hurt and they have never returned. Good luck.

Sounds good. It looked relatively benign, but i'm glad I checked with you guys on it. Would hate to have a bunch of those sprouting up.. hopefully that doesn't happen. I will definitely keep a lookout, thanks for the advice!
