Been away from my tank for about a week. These were not hear before. Almost looks like a cross between a feather duster and an aptasia. Its the things on the sides and bottom of my frag plug.

They are pineapple sponges. Harmless filter feeders

agree pineapple sponge ,good filtration ,put in overflows or sump ,or leave

Thanks. This week has been a heck of a time dealing with the tank. Two weeks ago finally beat dinos (I hope).
Now cyano, have a zoa colony that is not doing well, something got in my ato and shot ppm up to 1000 and smelled like eggs, then i went full blown panic mode if another pest was going to show up lol.

Wife is maintenancing while im working 8am to 10pm mon-fri. So today was my day to sit down and start solving problems.
