Just got a blue tang from a local seller who had been quarantining it for me. Didn’t notice these until I got him into the tank. Anything to worry about?

Looks like it may be post injury from netting. Keep an eye on it to assure nothing progresses over the nest 24-48 hours

Really not close enough of a view to say for sure. Could be a post injury (since you just got the fish, it could have happened during the transfer). It might also be Lymphocystis, a non-fatal viral disease that will go away in a couple of months - but it isn't really in a normal location for that (usually that is seen on the edges of fins to start with).
