Just noticed my acan like this. Was "full" earlier this evening. Any thoughts as to what it is doing? I did feed AB+ earlier but never noticed this before.

I find acans will go through a series of expansions and contractions based on feeding and lighting. Nothing to worry about unless they remain contracted for an extended period.

Thanks. This is my first one and that had not happened that I had seen before. Typically looks like this

She’s a beaut! You’ll need to soon get her off that plug and into the sand. Did you get her as a frag?

Currently on a frag on a rock. My diamond goby has been burying everything lately. So it should be removed from the plug and placed in the sand? Why is that better? My first acan and I wasn't sure about placement.

Not actually better. More my thing. When a coral outgrows the plug, time to move them to the real world.
