Unfortunately - cannot view your movie - so more people can see it - perhaps upload it to YouTube and post a link?Iv had this teal frag hammer for about 2 weeks now. It was doing great fully extended. Till today some tentacles looks deflated. Is the coral taking a poo LoL? Or something else going on?

WhereThe last 5 seconds of the video.
See the pearl white skeleton, that is recent recession.
Could be water parameters, flow or lighting.
Since you didn't list any of it, can't tell for sure.
Could be that way before you bought it?
Thats a bit extreme no?
Doent look terrible but often this is a sign of stress and slight recession. The key is to avoid the extremes. . . Extreme light and extreme water flow. Too much light and they expel their energy and color source known as zooxanthella. Too little light and they shrivel but more important is the water flow. Too much flow stresses them and will even tear the polyps off the skeleton. You want them to wave gently in the flow and not vigorous or bent over the skeleton. Yours looks slightly high based on how polyps are bouncing.Iv had this teal frag hammer for about 2 weeks now. It was doing great fully extended. Till today some tentacles looks deflated. I dont see poo. I was askng if its.Doent look terrible but often this is a sign of stress and slight recession. The key is to avoid the extremes. . . Extreme light and extreme water flow. Speaking of skeleton, calcium is important for their skeletal growth and should not be below 390. The poo you see is zooxanthellae being expelled. Increase light very slightly and decrease flow also slightly.
Feed mysis or brine 2x a week.
Yes, it was.Thats a bit extreme no?
You were right the polyps bailed out during the night. And thats the body for hammer all white at the top. Bought it from living reef orlandy. And it was like that from the beginning but i never realized it.Yes, it was.
But there is no more receeding to be done here. The flesh is gone, you are at the polyps.
It's not too late, but your water needs to be perfect for this to heal.

Ah, sorry OP.You were right the polyps bailed out during the night. And thats the body for hammer all white at the top. Bought it from living reef orlandy. And it was like that from the beginning but i never realized it.
As a beginner this is what i deal with at the daily basis. I honest had no idea from day 1 that this was receeding otherwise i wouldnt put it in my tank

Btw. I got a new frogspawn from living reef orlando yesterday. And i noticed today that their white spots undet the skin any idea?Ah, sorry OP.
Sometimes these things happen. As a new reefer, now you know exactly what to look for in a HEALTHY frag/coral. Always pick healthy ones, this will have the best chances for you.
Edit: healthy for this type would be flesh running down the side of the coral. Here is a pic of mine in my system. I shook it up some too retract the polyps. The bottom head doesn't get much light, flesh or retracting. But see the others? That's more than an inch of flesh from the head.

I can't say for sure, looks like flesh of the coral rather than a pest.Btw. I got a new frogspawn from living reef orlando yesterday. And i noticed today that their white spots undet the skin any idea?

Would the coral die ? From itI can't say for sure, looks like flesh of the coral rather than a pest.
@vetteguy53081 maybe will know.
Looks like Mesenterial filaments to me. Maybe from the cutting.

Not sure what is going on , but lately, many hammer are showing up with Clatharina sponge which is a poriferan sponge and will expand on the coral. Take the frag out and place in a container of tank water. Use a dental type pick or small crochet needle and gently pull off. Other option is to inject with air or vinegar via syringe which will stop itI can't say for sure, looks like flesh of the coral rather than a pest.
