This is in my buddies tank. Any ideas.
Water Parms are: Alk 187 Ammonia 0 calcium 445 nitrate 32 PH 8.2 phosphate .14 salinity 1.026 temp 78.

Chrysophytes, can have different looks to them. Some more "golden" some lighter. Op's looks like Chrysophytes to me.

It looks like there is a green filamentous algae as a base, and probably some bacterial or other growth covering it, and accumulating debris.
But it's a pretty wild guess without microscope.
