Can you get some pics of it under white light from different angles? It's hard to tell what I'm looking at here.
Can you try and describe it then?
Does it move, or is it sessile? Does it have a shell? Have you seen it eating? Etc.
From what I can see, it seems to be some kind of mollusk (snails, bivalves, etc.) with a fleshy skirt and what looks like a massive crater where its shell should be, but I may be clear out in left field on this one.

Taking a bit of a shot in the dark here, but maybe some kind of fleshy limpet? (There are a number of different species, not just the orange one that's most commonly found in the hobby.)
