Just showed up on my tang today. He acts and eats fine. I’ve had the fish for about 3 months.

Tank-175g
Nitrate-10
Phos.008
Am-0
Nitrite-0

Are you talking about the dark round spot that almost looks like a 3rd eye?
 
Could be the Foxface stung it. And there's an infection starting "red dot in the middle" from the insertion point. I'd start him on Furan2. It works really well on angels and butterflies that develop those nasty "red spots." Beautiful fish.

Ok yea that could be, they do pick at each other’s from time to time but more often than not get along.
 
That looks like an injury to me. How long has it been there?

If it gets more red or grows in size it will need antibiotics like furan 2, metroplex, and kanaplex administered in a quarantine tank.
 
I noticed it about 7 hours ago.
Could be a sting from the fox face or perhaps a coral. Keep an eye on it. I’d source those antibiotics anyway, they’re great to have on hand and inexpensive on amazon.
