Any ideas what might be causing these white spots?

On a few of my acropora I am having issues with white spots forming, and eventually healing (albeit very slowly). Here is an example of a tricolor that was doing perfect just 2 days ago and now has a white spot forming. Is it parameter related or does it look like a pest issue?

I had an acro eating snail that left white spots just like that. But it would stay in the same spot for a good while so if that’s what it is it should be easy to find. It looked a lot like a nassarius but a little smaller.

Could be AEFWs. Check closely around the coral plug bases. Look also for egg clusters. A FW dip may help and there are several treatments that can be used. Adding @jayhemdal our doc on call for his advice.
