I’ve had this potters angle for about a month now. Has been eating and swimming and very active since having it.

Noticed an open wound on its side a week ago, but its behavior wasn’t altered at all.

Today I see it and it’s entire side is swollen. It keeps hanging around one coral and its equilibrium seems off. Anyone have any clue what this could be?

A wound that has begun to turn white usually indicates a bacterial infection is in progress. Those white-ish areas should be looked upon with concern as bacterial infections can go sideways usually fast. Do you have a QT and antibiotics to treat that beautiful fish?

Try waiting until the tank has been dark for a couple of hours. Using a small flashlight, locate the fish and shine the light in its eyes. The light will mesmerize the fish making it possible to net the fish. Usually works pretty good. ;)
