So recently I noticed my one snail has some hair like stuff growing on its shell. Anyone have any ideas on that? And secondly I just noticed these little things on my glass. They are super small star like and kinda see threw and have very small hair like things coming from them aswell. Please help me out if I need to get rid of them or if they are ok. This is my first tank and still very new at this so any insight would be great. Thanks in advance.

They don't look like the vermeted snails. I don't see the hard base that they talk about and explain.

Appear to be very young ones. Larger ones have the coiled base. Pic is blurry so little hard to see but it looks like mucous nets. Could also be feather dusters.

Ok I'll try and get a better picture. I looked up the hydroid jellys and I'm pretty sure that's what those are on the glass. Are they ok, will they go away on their own?

They can become a nuisance as they multiply quickly and can irritate corals. Get them out while you can.

Here's another picture

Hydroids for sure and they are getting food from the snail. To eliminate, they must starve

Will that be whats on my glass to or is it a different kind of hydroid
