Any ideas what to do?

I have a 29g tank that I'm planning on making fowlr. I have all main equipment skimmer light and powerhead I, if you saw my other thread, was planning a fuzzy dwarf lion but after comments likely I may go another route but I don't have time or budget for reef. What would you put in the tank bear in mind it's custom made and only has height of 12in

I would probably make it a zoanthid garden with a couple small fish. Maybe a goby/shrimp pair? With all the variety of zoanthids available you could get a very colorful system going pretty easily.

I wasn't planning any corals at best gsp and leathers even with the lionfish. The lighting is only 11w led 48white 6blue

IMO too small for most lions. Agree that gobies are probably best option.

In a shallow tank your best bet is a top down visual. I would look at setting up a tide pool style tank with those types of creatures.
