Hello I got this syaghorn across from a local frag swap. When I got it the guy said the body will be a light blue with dark blue polyps. I have not seen any polyps on this thing. I have LEDs the blues around 50% and whites around 40%. All my levels are fine calcium was low at 400. I do have a clown goby that likes to sit on it. Do you thinks its done or does it still have a chance I would love to see the polyps it would be a beautiful piece if I can get it to grow. Thanks for the help
This pic is with LEDs

It looks bleached out. Give it some more time and see if it comes around.

What should I do with it? Take it off or wait another week? Would it hurt to keep it in because the clown goby loves it. When I figure out what went wrong I want to try another one and hopefully with that in there it might stay away.

Is the goby kill the acro. They eat the body put eggs never leave the coral alone

That is wild acropora and came with infection

Why would you say this ? And how would you know ???

It does look like it may have RTN'd and you will know for sure in a few days if algae starts to grow or discolors the Coral skeleton. If it bleached out it may take several weeks to gain much color back, shading it a bit will help it to recover from an LED overdose if that's what happened.

Cheers, Todd

Easy to know just look the body of the acro. Marine culture never ever doing ok whit led

U can see the fish eat. The fish get another frag and put in the goby will eat and u can see every sps tank can't have clown goby , look on YouTube

Once again beg to differ as I have several very colorful and healthy Mari-cultured and/or wild frags that have grown into beautiful colonies under my LED's. I do agree that a lot of people have a hard time acclimating their Mari-cultured Corals under LED's because of a lack of knowledge or experience. I do not have a problem at all as I do have a working knowledge and 32 years of Reefkeeping experience.

I/we? appreciate you trying to help others out but.... there are way to many possibilities to draw conclusive answers from the two photo's and little information/description given above.

Cheers, Todd

Pink one is red plant. Secund one is purple tip fuzzy the last one dying is kind of stag grow from the plug.

Cheers u know marine culture only do ok under metal h light. Under led t5 they lost the color take months or yr to come back. Proof me I'm wrong put deep water acro under led take pic and how me after 1 month if the color still
