Any ideas?

We recently picked up these Zoanthids and Angie and I are debating their ID. She thinks they're PPEs, I'm not so sure. The first pic shows one polyp closed. I'm not seeing the "striated lines" that PEs seem to be known for.

the PPE have a bright green mouth so they are not those but i do like them thats for sure

Not PPE's. I have the exact palys and they started off being TidalZone Palys but turned blue/purple like the ones you have pictured. They are some of my favorites because of the size and nice color.

I was thinking Jokers. I thought Jokers looked like PPE's without the green mouth.

I'm thinking Joker Palys or Purple Puddles. Leaning more towards Purple Puddles.

I would say they are closer to purple puddles.
My jokers have a very bright green skirt.

I think we're settled on Purple Puddles!! Angie still thinks they're a type of people eaters....lol. Guess she's not as much of a Zoanthid nut as she claims!!!
