Ok so new to the hobby and I picked
Up what the local reef place told me
Was a "highlighter torch" the first day it was placed in the tank it was knocked over on its side and landed in the sand ever since then it's been down hill. The first head died pretty fast like a day or so, so I moved it into a low
Flow area of the tank thinking maybe it was that. Now it's in the low flow head by head it is dying. The tentacles shrivel up then the flesh Jst falls off
I dipped the coral for 10-13 mins when the first head died and it didn't seem to work. So should I toss this thing outa the tank or shud I let it ride? I have a few Corals in tank Tht are doing great ...hammers, bubble, torch , frog spawn, galaxies ect
Again new to the hobby so sorry for the ignorance but any advice would be appreciated

Do you have a pic of when you first got it? Looks like it would be very pretty.

when you say you dipped it, what did you dip it in? I wouldn't toss it just yet, it could just be mad, it still has some life left in it.

We used seachem reef dip, it seemed
To help at first but it keeps
Slowly dying. Don't see anything picking at it or eating it. I don't have a pic of it when we got it. The tentacles weren't long like my other torch but it looked healthy. I hope it makes it, it's pretty cool looking. Anything I should do to it? Should I dip it again? Would it be brown jelly ? Again very new &haven't had anything slowly die before

Loosing coral happens from time to time and sometimes all at once. It can be pretty heart breaking. I hope it does well. I don't think I would dip it again. Maybe feed it a little to entice it to open? Good luck.
