This wasn't in my sump 2 days ago.

They sorta look like pineapple sponges, if so they are filter feeders, and good to have in your system!
 
Do they move at all?

Pineapple sponges. Harmless filter feeders. I would clean them out of the skimmer body though since they will reduce its efficiency
 
Is your system relatively new? Seems like every tank goes thru a period where these really thrive in the first year or so, just curious if yours is the same situation.
