Noticed this whitish stuff on the baseof the piece of SPS and it was not there 1 week ago. Any thoughts on what this may be?

Sorry going to need a more focused image.

Is it mesenterial filaments?

Is it tissue loss?
Does it move?

Try either backing the camera up and then crop the image around the unidentified.

Is it like tiny little spaghetti or little strings. As @Tahoe61 asked about mesenterial filaments and getting better pictures. Try google images to see if that matches. Believe it or not if it's at the very base corners it could also be your corals growing. Also what are your parameters and how old is your tank a.d do you have other older sps with any issues

Tank has been running for 2 yrs. I have 21 pieces of SPS in my 150 and none of them have issues.
Dose red sea 3 part daily.
Recently upped the Acropower dosing from 1x wk to 3x wk

Sorry buddy, you are not going to get help until you find a way to get better pictures. Zooming in too much distorts images. Too much blue distorts images. We can't help you if we can't see.

Otherwise. Search the terms already used, like what @Tahoe61 said: Is it mesenterial filaments?
