File Fish? And if you were local I would take you up on that!![]()
Meet the Aiptasia Brothers— “We Make house calls!” Lol.![]()
Thank you for the tip and will do that going forward as well. Now to get rid of it, I could add a file fish but last time I had one it was suggested to just take the rock out, grab what I could of the Aiptasia and put a glob of glue over the rest.We agree, definitely Aiptasia. Sometimes when you dip, air pockets develop when you put the coral in the dip. Always turn over your corals to let any air bubbles escape. Sometimes unwanted critters escape the dip this way, especially aiptasia. They like to hide in the hard to get places in rock, which is also where the air pockets are. Thanks for sharing!
If they’re on a part of the rock that you can chip/cut/clip off, that would work. There’s always aiptasia-x as well. Read up on that, have not used it before (I’m sure there’s a ton of posts on it) Also, peppermint shrimp are great at maintaining aiptasia and hydroids as well. Not sure they would take on a big one, but imagine they would keep them at bay before they get that size. Hope this helps!Thank you for the tip and will do that going forward as well.
