Likely rock rubble or empty frag plug that has adapted matt hair algae. Not unusual for this to develop but hard to confirm as pics are fuzzy

I was able to expand the pic and the top pic, lower one looks like rubble with poriferan sponge on it. Does it look like a mass of spaghetti ?

+1 for sponge, and this one isn't bad, usually can find it on dark and fast flow areas.
Have found many of this in a sump on very high flow.
