Any ideas?

Newer tank - been wet for about 2 1/2 months. Have about 40 frags in the tank so somehow something got in. Last night I found a single Asterina star fish on my glass. I removed it. Tonight I notice very small white specs on the glass.. Probably around 15-20 around the tank. They are small - maybe 1/16" of an inch or smaller. Was surprised my camera would even zoom in on them.

From a search the closest thing ive found is a Hydroid Jellyfish.

f you are seeing tiny star-like organisms on your glass, they are likely to be Hydroid Jellyfish. They sort of look like very small Aptasia, or a snowflake or even baby star fish, they are not really much bigger than the head of a pin (1-2mm max).

Yep! It’s a hydroid. They usually appear in newer tanks- their population will die down as the tank matures

Just a follow up. Got one under the microscope. They move around a little then kinda dissolve.
