Hey all!

Does anyone have any ideas on keeping a reef tank clean with not fish or cuc? I had to remove all fish and inverts because of a velvet incident. Within two days, the rock has started to become dirty and algae is starting to grow. I have a sump with fuge that runs opposite the tank lighting already so I’m kind of at a loss at the moment. Not sure I want to be scrubbing the rocks every other day! Any help is appreciated.

From what I’ve read, they can carry it but not be affected by it?
From Humblefish:
"Ich / Velvet tomonts can live on corals & inverts, but within the 76 day fallow period will release free swimmers. Once those are released the tomonts die. And when free swimmers fail to find a fish host, they too die out. Thus ending the life cycle of parasites in your aquarium. :)

Guessing I read that wrong! Lol. I will put them back in. Thanks!
