So I currently own a 50 gallon tank. 48 inches long. 18 inches deep. I have the Current USA marine orbit led lighting right now. I really like them so I would keep them and add another strip. However the only ones I can find at the lfs are the Fluval reef led lights. I would use this in conjunction with my current lights to have both strips running on tank. I want the light to be enough for rose bubble tip anemones. Anyone think this is a good idea?

Why not buy another Current strip? Doesn’t the hub that came with the one you have have a place to plug in another?

Well I’ve recently heard that my current orbit isn’t enough for an anemone. Does adding another strip double the par?

This light probably has a better spectrum that your original light. Its a total of 56 watts. Along with the current light you will be OK for an anenome. Not great, but it should be enough.
