Any input on Bubble Magus Curve 5 before purchase

I have a chance to pick up a Bubble Magus Curve 5 protein skimmer along with some other items at a decent price 150.00. Are those protein skimmers any good? One of the other items is a 36” current USA reef light, controller and some type of pump for a 90 gallon tank. I am thinking about converting a 40 gallon breeder tank. Would these items work for me? The tank would be a mixed reef with minimal SPS.

That's what I did.
Got a used BM curve 5 for my 40 breeder setup.
That light sounds right for that tank and what you're wanting in there too.

I have a curve 5 and it's great, I'd grab it for sure, can't help on the lights though.

The light is nothing special just an added bonus being it cost 179.00 and he just got a few months ago.
