Any LED DIY tutorials?

Anyone know of any good DIY LED tutorials or just good reading on the subject? Im looking to build my first LED fixture for a fuge light but have very limited exp. (just a 2 bulb T5 retro). I tried googling but got overwhelmed with videos that never really showed how to do much

If you're not up on drivers, LED's and forward voltage, I'd very highly recommend looking at one of the kits where you simply need to assembly. The first "kit" company that comes to mind is Steve's LEDs. There are others out there that hopefully others can supply.

I thought about that. I suppose if Im not confident after more research, that is the route I will take. However, I'd really like to try my hands at building my own so i can choose the LED's and for the experience.

Here's a really good one that is helping me a lot. Sumer recently posted it. It's for a freshwater planted tank so exact led colors will be different than for a reef tank.

YouTube: search "the king of DIY" + "DIY LED" He has two videos on them. One was better than the other. The cost was still about $200 I believe though. Anyway it might help...

H@rry at [email protected] has an excellent led diy. He posted it on here at one time. Send him a pm and he'll send it to you. I've seen them in person and they are the best LEDs I've seen diy or store bought.
