Just curious how my lighting stacks up and why i get brown outs before coloring up.

I have 4 x 48' LED panels with 40 lights each. They use Bridgelux 3w. Roughly Half blue/royal blue and Half white/daylight white.

On my old 220 i had MH and t5 supplemental, however I noticed that with these panels that any SPS i receive loses it's fluorescent green under actinics after a couple of weeks. They just slowly fade over the course of a week or 2, and either brown or pale. Then after a month they start coming back (albeit slowly).

The corals that are in question are purchased from LFS with the radions. I am curious if I am not acclimating them correctly or that I am not giving enough light, or if my parameters are too different?

My usual parameters are
1.026 sg
1380 mag
415 - 430 calcium
7.2 - 7.8 dkh
po4 .02-.04
no3 1-3ppm
78 degrees

Any personal experiences are also welcomed.

thanks

Sounds like they are going through an acclimation period

Yeah, i was just wondering if maybe my lighting wasnt high enough to prevent this "brown out"?

i run blues 100% whites 20% which equates to roughly 250 par at the coral. if i turn it up i generally get an extra 100 but i heard par meters arent effective with leds
