I was wondering if there are any clams that would be fine with moderate lighting. I have an ecotech radion 3rd generation but don't have it to high in intensity due to the fact that the most demanding light coral I have is some montis and birds nests. I think my intensity is like somewhere from 50-65% intensity and is usually at 14K. I would like to place the clam on the sand bed 24" deep and 32" from the light. I would prefer not to raise intensity because last time I did my chalices up high on the rock work lost some coral so I lowered it back down. Are there any clams that would work in this situation? Thank you in advance.

only thing I can think of off the top would be something like a Flame Scallop (Lima scabra) but, let see if anyone else has a recommendation... [HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG]

I think that Tridacna derasa would be fine

The Dersa would be a good choice plus they are beautiful

I will look into the Tridacna derasa. Is it obvious when a clan doesn't get enough light? Thanks

It will be about the same as if a coral is not getting enough.
