Any one dosed API general cure in DT?

I am struggling with internal parasites already lost 2 fishes . I tried prazipro but not good . The fish is not eating when it gets the parasite . Any one dosed API GC directly in tank . Mine is FOWLR

It's going to mess with your bacteria population, but with a FOWLR tank, my non-scientific opinion is that it will be fine. Make sure to remove any chemical filtration you've got (carbon) and turn off your skimmer while treatment is playing out.

API swears it wont affect the biological filter . But I will keep an eye. Its worse than ick

That seems...disingenuous? API Gen Cure has the same stuff as Fritz Paracleanse (metronidazole and praziquantel) and Fritz specifically says:

The active ingredients in Fritz ParaCleanse can negatively affect beneficial bacteria which remove ammonia and nitrite from water. Testing for ammonia and nitrite is recommended.

Welp, I'd slap an ammonia badge on there and monitor closely like you said.
