any one ever get frags shipped from canada

if you get caught I here the laws are you have to have an importers licensens? For most stuff now tha LAWS on Aquacultuered frag of Zoas and palys may be differant than wild stuff?

ah i see a guy has some joker palys i want in canada i wish i could find them around the usa i wonder if i should just pass these up i dont want to spend ther money on the frags and shipping and not get them

don't try it unless you have CITES and all the required permits.....that's the simple answer.

but i do know some canadian reefers who drive to the US fairly often and come back with fish AND corals...their trick? just declare it......the main thing the "man" wants to know is if it's for re-sale (ie. commercial) or for personal use (ie. just a simple trade b/w hobbyists)....when it comes to fish, all you need is published proof that the species you have in the bag is the one in the book.....corals..well...you're on your own

truth is, 9.9/10 customs officers, on both sides of the border, have no clue what the heck a coral is...

and for the love of god, DO NOT SHIP anything across the border....always carry it on your person.
