I just rebuilt my sump in a 20g long tank. I built a platform above the refugium to where about three to four inches of water Will flow over the coral. What do y'all think? Obviously I need to clean up some silicon. But I have it slanted so that the water flow is not directly on the coral.

I have a frag area in my sump and it does just fine with a MJ1200 and a nano powerhead.

What kind of lighting are you using and what other than coral do you have in it? I'll have chaeto. Another reason for the shelf design to keep it off the coral

Yeah I keep a few in my sump. With buildmyled.com LED's 1 12" 12k full spectrum an 1 12" actinic 455 420 mix with dimmer on 12k and jbj wide flow 500gph circulation pump for flow
