Any one used Vibrant for hair Algae?

After 18 months of owning tank Hair algae started coming nitrates were stable from day 1 between 15-20ppm . Phosphates I dont check usually just run GFO. Its a fish only aquarium with some GSPS and mushrooms.
Any one tried Vibrant in aquarium ? I hear it was a scam in some forums ... Any one used it with usccess?

I don't condone it but you are going to use an algacide in your tank then save yourself some money and use API Algaefix; they are the same product.

A combination of manual removal, h2o2, or fluconazole are better methods in my opinion.
