So I was wondering if I can use the water from this to go into my ro machine this drain connects to my water softener

I probably wouldn’t. That’s a pressure sensor there I believe. When you open it does anything happen with the rest of that system

I’m emailing the company. I’m going to see as that’s that I was thinking but my assumption was the pressure sensor only would check when there’s no flow

It may have to retain a certain pressure opening that valve may drop it to that expansion tank on the left
