I’ve made a little cave in my 20G Red Sea max nano. It’s quite difficult to get my hand into that little cave and I’m concerned it will be hard to clean during algae outbreaks…or if a goby or pistol shrimp moves too much sand out.

I love this layout, but I’m concerned that it will be too hard to clean or move sand around. Is this cause for concern? If so, would it be better if I just broke it apart and do another type of aquascape?

I like it. Kind of neat actually. if anything, i would use a turkey baster under there occasionally to blow out any unwanted build up. Algae most likely wont grow under there as it will be pretty dark. Toothbrush on a skinny pole would do the trick in tight areas.

I like it. You should probably glue the rocks to each other to prevent them from falling down. You should also remove the foam as it will probably leach stuff into your tank.

Looks a bit high and maybe close to the glass for me. I like the shape.

If you rotated it 20 or 30 degrees then you would be clear to clean the glass.
