Hello everyone i just got some rapid led and im wanting to put it on a led strip that i gutted out. .. im trying to figure out how i would put a splash guard on it.. the rapid led come with a pretty big lens that sticks out... been racking my brain on how but still cant figure out how to do so... any idea? Do i even need a splash guard? Tia

You can skip the splash guard with their optics.

Last check they were glue on. If your concerned about splash once they are secured you can use elmers glue to seal them on the sides. Compared to potting this is also unnecessary as long as salt water or salt creep reach the LEDs.

Thank you for the reply , so now i dont have to worry about anymore... i didn't know it doesn't need it

As Long as there is no salt water or salt creep reaching the LEDs.

Some Tanks with Clams and Fish require a shield.
