Ive heard some types of plastic can leech contaminants. There's not really any info on these besides being a composite made from recycled materials, but I found the MSDS from the mold factory.

Yeah me too?Why in the tank...?
Same. Why?Yeah me too?
I’d use sand or other rocksI’m going to guess….leveling parts of your aqua scape?
Me too, but can’t figure why else you would use them in the tank.I’d use sand or other rocks
Oh! I was so close.I'm not using them for level anything. I need a wedge to keep my media basket up against the overflow in my aio. The flow keeps pushing against the back wall and by passing it completely.

Didn't I tell you id give you the cad for that so that you could have someone print it? Or to just use a piece of acrylic dowel?I'm not using them for level anything. You did and I appreciated it, but I can't find anyone to print stuff less than $12 shipped. I also didn't want to waste your time and my money if a $1.50 pack of shims I already owned would work. The basket does not hang on the glass at all.Didn't I tell you id give you the cad for that so that you could have someone print it? Or to just use a piece of acrylic dowel?
Those are both easy and affordable options. No more money than a bundle of composite shims.
And if your bedia basket hangs on the glass, use thin velcro to hang it in place it will only take a tiny square 1/2" x 1/2".
What kind of tank is this? Something custom?I'm not using them for level anything. I need a wedge to keep my media basket up against the overflow in my aio. The flow keeps pushing it against the back wall and bypassing it completely.
If the shims work I'll use them, but if not, I can pay for shipping and print. They're polypropylene and wood pulp, so I can't forsee an issue, but I'm not a chemist, which is why I asked.I'll print them free and ship them free. I just didn't want to set up my printer. But a buddy will print them free. Tell me how big the gap is.
No, it's an IM tank but they've started sizing their chambers and designing their tanks to force you to buy their equipment. It's really annoying but I get it from an aquarium manufacturer that also wants to sell their own rollers, skimmers, baskets, uv, ect. What kind of tank is this? Something custom?
The InTank media basket solves this issue (at least it did on the previous generation of their Fusion tanks). No, it's an IM tank but they've started sizing their chambers and designing their tanks to force you to buy their equipment. By the way, the "wood" is the part I don't trust. Many composite "wood" products are made with processed saw dust. A lot of that dust was treated or chemically altered to make a sheet good or composite good.If the shims work I'll use them, but if not, I can pay for shipping and print. It's the same tilt forwards design which works fine on larger tanks, but it doesn't work on my tank (fusion pro 2 20). The chambers are only 2.8" and the baskets do not have enough weight to overcome the flow. The InTank media basket solves this issue (at least it did on the previous generation of their Fusion tanks).
