I recently purchased a Fluvial Sea Evo 13.5 kit. (My wife/probation officer finally approved to have a fish tank in the facility. LoL. jk.) Any recommendation for a reliable therm heater to use with it?

on a tank as small 13g you definitely want to get a temp controller. Check out ranco or inkbird. Too risky to trust any heater’s thermometer.

On the bigger tanks i use fluval titanium elements with analog dial controllers.
Small nano. I use the pre set 78deg F heaters. I always use a glass thermometer in my tanks.

I use the Cobalt 75W Neo-therm heater and an Inkbird controller. I heard the Cobalts have a tendency to fail in the off position if they ever do but as much money as I have dumped into my Fluval 13.5 $30 is nothing. Plus it gives me a easy way to read my temp.

Thanks for all the advice! I will definitely take it in consideration. I'm planning to start out slow - maybe 2 clown fish, a shrimp, and bubble tip for now. I definitely will have to invest in an Inkbird if my tank become loaded with corals. Looking to get the EHEIM heater for now.
