Not run dry? I’m trying to figure out how the water flow gets to that back chamber

Yes, It is the Red Sea 200XL G2 model. The filter sock holder slides right off without any mods. Lots of options on how/where you want to install it. Behind my Reefmat there is a ball of chaeto that is growing. I have 2 Tunze 8831 refugium light that is submersible. Its a pain in the rear to get to the chaeto like it is. I'll figure something out as i have a UV to plumb too so all this may change.

Ahhh ok yes that would make sense. Originally I had the water level above both chamber so it wasn’t filtering through that foam in the baffle

The foam will trap most of the bubbles as long as there not excessive

Thank you so much for helping out!! It’s been driving me crazy
Is there any harm in the water level being above that baffle chamber ? To clarify … is it ok for the water level to be the same across from the area where the skimmer is to the return pump ??

No harm at all. You don’t get the benefit of the foam which traps the bubbles and also helps with exposing the water to the air which helps with oxygen levels but it’s not required if everything is working the way it’s supposed to. When I go away for a few days I add a little more water to that section to make sure I have enough to help with evaporation. I fill the ato and then add extra to the sump.
