Any side affects switching additives?

ive been dosing seachem reef builder and reef advantage to maintain the big 3, but plan on switching over to Tropic Marin Carbocalcium. Is it as simple as just starting the new additive or is there certain steps I should take to transition over safely?

Shouldn't make any difference.

Carbocalcium has a small amount of organic matter in it. So it will act like a small amount of organic carbon dosing.
