Any specific bottle or tubes for a bristle worm trap?

Just trying to figure out if it needs to be a specific bottle or any bottle for a bristleworm diy trap. Also if the straws need to be like petg or any straw could work. Anyone have any insight?

Seems like a lot of work to catch something that eats up detritus.

No, nothing special, just a plastic soda bottle and some plastic straws will do the trick.
