Any sps keepers use live aquaria salt?

Live Aquaria has a really good price on their salt today. Anybody use this long term on an sps tank? I am thinking of trying it. I use Fritz now and the parameters are the same, but obviously won’t be worth the savings if it causes any issues.

I have heard the LA salt is just repackaged Fritz..but I have no proof

I have been using it for about 6 months so far it has been consistent

I’ve used a couple boxes. Seems fine. I do 10 - 20 gallon changes in my 200ish total water volume sps tank with no major swings.

Have y’all run any icp tests since using it? If so, anything bad like tin show up?

I have done 1 ati icp since changing and no out of the ordinary heavy metals..Tin actually was lower than last test which I was using IO

not that it matters much..but since I have switched I am on my 7th or 8th batch of LA salt..I use around 250-300 gallons of salt mix a month
