Does anyone have any suggestions to keep fish from getting into overflow? My first 2 clowns in tank have now been in the overflow 2 days in a row..After removing 1 last night I awoke to both now in the overflow..

i would try screen also i did a diy over flow and i used a small basket from dollar store and made sure it was exstended out a little off my over flow and its sticks up out of water a little bit worked for me when my oc was juvinile

Ok, what do you think to hold it in place, lots of water flow
I've actually seen it held in place with super glue. Just cut a circular piece to cover gap, put a hole in middle, as if making a "gasket". Fit into place around the return and glue

mabe use black zip ties to hold it

Agreed, when I had a 65 Gallon Corner-Flo I used plastic canvas on top and to cover the gap from the return line. The submerged plastic did get gunky, so I would recommend something less permanent than glue (I used reusable zip ties) so you can rinse it out every month or so...
