Just wondering if there would be any type of tang that would be able to go into a 32g tank. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Unfortunately no, there isn't enough swim space for even the smallest, like a bristle tooth.

Much like @Flippers4pups said there isn't much room in that size of a tank even if minimal aquascape. They get big and quick. Quick question though why the tang? Is it you wanted a source of algae removal or just because (like, color, etc)? If algae removal or control there are a lot of other fish that might fight your requirement and add a splash of personality. Lawnmower blennies for example. Starry is also a very nice looking fish. Then there is bi-color and more. Depending on what you have in there a blenny would make a great addition.

If it is because of the larger fish, tang, then you have to wait it out until you upgrade to a larger tank. Hats off for doing some research before just adding it. Hope you have a great day!

Yeah. I wanted the tang because it is a great algae eater and also looks beautiful. I was already thinking of getting a blenny for a while, a lawnmower or bi colour especially. Thanks for the reply!
