Any thoughts between these two returnpumps?

So my 13 year old Mag18 is on its last legs. Tried cleaning impeller, and 4 of the 6 screws holding the housing snapped right off. So much for being proactive.
I could easily go back to another Mag Drive but...
These 2 DC pumps from Jebao/Coral Box look quite promising

There both forms of Jebao pumps:
The DCA "DCA from Coral Box are DCS pumps with special advanced controller."
DCS pumps from Jeabo are supposed to be one of their stronger more reliable pumps. CoralBox gives them a sine wave power supply, some more functions, and a float valve disconnect.

The new MDC from Jebao has wifi functionality, and the potential to have many options through the app. It also may be a horrible app. The impeller housing is clear plastic, looks thin and not very tough. It would be nice to use my phone for feedings but not at the expense if moderate reliability.

Any want to weight in? Im looking for a pump af least 2500gph or more. The Hydor Seltz lines look good but not as controllable and a bit more expensive.

Any feeback would be great. Any knowledge of Jebao's new MDC in needed.
Thanks!

Do they ever lose power and restart/reboot at full power? 100% at over 3000gph would flood my tank quickly. I have it setup witb 2 returns and split locline at each end. Was thinking maybe 4 returns even across the 72" back wall and more of a manifold in tbe future. Just dont want a afternoon storm to knock out power to have it come back on set to blast

I have the coral box DC4000 and love the controllability. Pump is quiet and does the job on my 40 breeder.

I believe all newer jebaos are sine and ramp up upon startup. My return pump does at least. It does not start back at last setting but ramps up to it after around 30 seconds or so

Have the cbox 12000, it re-starts at the last setting, love it!

Thanks, probably going with the coralbox 12000 then. Longer track record

MDC would be my choice. I highly recommend Sicce though

I have the DCA and really like it. Another plus for me is that Coral Box was awesome to do business with and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

The Hydor Seltz D 3200 is going give you more power because it is a A/C pump with constant pressure. It has all the control you will need, 5 minute feed mode and comes back on to where it was set when power goes off. Full warranty and customer service.
