Just noticed this little disc a few days ago. It hasn't moved at all. Almost right in the middle of the picture. I didn't see anything like it on hitchhikers-guide.

Soft. Maybe some kind of mushroom? I'll keep an eye on it. If I didn't just kill it lol.

It does look like a mushroom. Mushrooms are very resilient. I cut one in half before by accident and since I damaged the mouth I thought it was going to die... they healed no problem lol

So update now that lights are out. Unfortunately I can't get a good pic but this guy is showing tentacles the entire circumference of the disk.

It may be a Majano anemone. If it is, get rid of it before it spreads, they're nasty and tough pests
